Spolive, the legal sports prediction game in Korea and aiming to reach number 1 in the global market
A blockchain gaming platform, WEMIX announced Tuesday that Spolive, a web-based sports prediction game, will be onboarded by Wemade Connect on the WEMIX platform.
Wemade Connect is a global game company that publishes and develops various casual games including 'Abyssrium' and 'EveryTown'. They are currently focusing on applying blockchain to their current games and developing new blockchain games.
Spolive predicts and guesses the results of professional sports matches such as soccer, basketball, and baseball. They passed the review by the Game Rating and Administration Committee so that their game became a legal in the country.
According to Wemade Connect, the actual game data is based on domestic and global leagues, and it covers sports leagues and games from 126 countries around the world. Wemade Connect mentioned that as a pioneer of the domestic sport prediction genre, it has maintained its number one place ever since the launch, and recorded sales growth of 9107% in Korea alone over the past four years.
The WEMIX platform version will have blockchain technology applied while maintaining current game rules. However, it will have a system for users to bet with game tokens(FT) instead of virtual assets as well as NFTs(Non-fungible Tokens) and other contents for global users to enjoy.
"The market performance and growth potential are limitless for sport prediction games as it is already one of the most popular and demanding genres in the global market," said Hodae Lee, CEO of Wemade Connect. He also said "Spolive, which has proven its excellent game quality and fun in the domestic market, will create surprising results in the global game market by onboarding the WEMIX platform."
